For what purposes will your data be processed? 

We collect your data to do the following: 

1. Deliver the purchased product to you.      

2. Communicate with you.      

3. Handling a complaint.

To whom do we provide personal data? We do not simply provide your personal data to others. We may do so if you have given us permission to do so, if we are obliged to do so pursuant to the law or a court order, or if such disclosure is in the service of our purposes in processing personal data. 

 

In order to carry out our business operations, we provide your personal data to the following parties:

 

  • authorities that must be informed on the basis of a legal obligation, such as the Tax and Customs Administration. These organisations are all responsible for the appropriate protection of your personal data in accordance with the Privacy Act (AVG); 

  • external parties that process data under our control and responsibility, such as our IT service provider and accountant;

  • if necessary, external advisors such as, for example, a lawyer. According to the Privacy Act (AVG), they too are responsible for the appropriate protection of your personal data.

 

We explicitly do not provide personal data to third parties for commercial purposes or outside the EU.

 

What rights do you have with regard to your personal data?

The Privacy Act grants you a number of rights. For example, you may ask us to inspect your personal data. In addition, you can ask us to correct, supplement, remove or protect your personal data if they are incorrect, incomplete or irrelevant, or if they are processed in any other way in violation of a statutory provision. We may not destroy personal data that we are legally required to retain. 

 

You can exercise your rights by submitting your request in writing to the e-mail address info@wesbersalbley.com.

 

In order to ensure that the request comes from you, we may ask you to send a copy of your proof of identity along with the request. Please blacken out your passport photo, MRZ (machine readable zone, the strip with numbers at the bottom of the passport), passport number and Citizen service number (BSN) in this copy. This is to protect your privacy. We will respond to your request as soon as possible, but within 1 month.

 

What are the principles for the use of your data? 

One of the principles of privacy law, the law that governs the use of your data, is that this may only happen if there is a legal basis for it. 

 

We use your data on the basis of the following legal principles: 

  • Execution of a contract with you, such as purchase or sale.

  • Based on a legitimate interest. In some cases we find that we have a legitimate interest (e.g. improving the website) in using your data, where we believe that sufficient safeguards have been put in place to ensure that your privacy interests are not compromised.

We take the protection of your data very seriously and have taken appropriate technical, physical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against loss or any form of unlawful processing. All employees within our company who have access to your data have signed a confidentiality agreement.
